Tragedy struck last Sunday when an older woman caused an auto accident that took the life of an elderly woman. The 55-year-old woman has since been charged with DUI manslaughter, driving under the influence and DUI causing property damage.
According to the police reports, the first woman failed to stop at an intersection. She drove into the side of the second woman's vehicle, severely injuring her. Although she was transported to the hospital just minutes later, the victim eventually died at the hospital.
