Victim Killed due to Drunk Driving

One woman is not only responsible for causing a serious car accident but killing the other driver in the process. She now faces charges of DUI as well as vehicular manslaughter.

According to the police report for the DUI accident, the 55-year-old suspect drove through a stop sign and crashed into another vehicle. The driver of the vehicle, a 71-year-old woman, was fatally injured. Although the victim was rushed to a local hospital, she died shortly after. A passenger in the second vehicle was also brought to the hospital but with non-life-threatening injuries. She is expected to make a complete recovery.
