Assault Suspect Took Pictures of Sleeping Woman Before Attack

Just before he entered her home to assault her, the perpetrator took pictures of the sleeping woman with his cell phone.

Police reports show that 21-year-old Fernando Clemente first took pictures of the women, then entered her home through an unlocked door. He sat down next to her and started to remove her pants. When the woman attempted to sit up, Clemente whispered "Shh, shh, it's okay." The woman was able to escape some time later and went straight to the police.

Based on the description provided by the victim, officers were able to locate the suspect around 11 a.m. at the restaurant where he is employed as a cook. He was taken and booked into the Hillsborough County Jail, where he is currently being held without bail.
