Homeless Man Arrested for Making Bomb Threat

A homeless man was arrested in St. Petersburg Monday after making a bomb threat and being tracked down by the police.
Brian James Russell made a bomb threat in the building at 205 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St., leaving a duffel bag which witnesses say he claimed contained a bomb. He also claimed that he wanted to commit suicide.
After leaving the scene of the crime he was arrested on an unrelated charge. When the Tampa Bay Regional Bomb Squad determined that there was no bomb, they tracked down Russell at the jail once he was identified and applied the second charge.
