Teenager Shot While Breaking Up Fight

One brave teenager was shot twice in an attempt to break up a fight between two people.
Police reports show that the 18-year-old boy got in between two people that were fighting when a gun was fired. The young boy was lucky to escape with what are being deemed non-life-threatening injuries. He was shot in the leg and in the hand, but is expected to make a full recovery. News sources say that a local high school was placed on lockdown while the police tried to locate the shooter.
Eyewitness reports state that the shooter was about a male about 5 feet 9 inches tall, either 16 or 17 years in age. So far, there are no solid leads in the case. Authorities encourage the public to come forward with any information they may have about the violent crime.
