Tampa Bank Robber In Police Custody

Police have a suspect in custody for a theft crime that took place last week in Tampa, Florida. An
arrest warrant was issued for 47-year-old D.R.M. and that eventually led to his detention by local law enforcement. According to the police report, D.R.M. is believed to have robbed a bank in downtown Tampa last Tuesday. He handed the teller a note implying that he had a gun and demanded cash. Although a gun was never observed, the teller gave him an undisclosed amount of money in a bag. D.R.M. then walked out on foot and headed down the street before the police were called.
Once notified of the bank robbery, police were able to gather enough evidence to identify the suspect as D.R.M. They then obtained an arrest warrant which resulted in his apprehension.
