In Tampa, Florida a teenage girl has been arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) three times over the past several weeks. K.M., 18, was arrested for drunk driving multiple times between February 28th and March 11th. Each time she was pulled over by police for suspected DUI, officers found that she was impaired by alcohol while operating her vehicle. News sources say that the first two arrests took place within just two days of each other. According to the last police report, the teenager rear-ended a brand new vehicle that had just been purchased several weeks earlier. Officers say that at least one of those arrests involved marijuana as well.
The three arrests have captured the community's attention, especially local members of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) who have actively spoken out about K.M.'s multiple DUI offenses. At this time, K.M. has been released on $3,000 bond. She is expected in court early next month to face indictment for her first DUI charge. Arrested for DUI in Florida?
