According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, there was an armed bank robbery in Valrico, Florida. A black male approximately 35 to 45 years of age with short dark hair walked into the bank and demanded money from the registers. The offense happened on September 19th at the Railroad and Industrial Federal Credit Union. The suspect was holding a black duffle bag, and claimed that there was dynamite inside. The suspect then lit a lighter and told the teller that he would blow up the bank if he wasn't given the money immediately.
The teller complied, unable to defend herself, and gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect then left the bank in a red Jeep Cherokee or Jeep Liberty and headed north towards Brandon. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is on the lookout for this offender at present.
