In a recent case, our criminal defense lawyers represented a 20-year-old girl who was arrested for having alcohol in the parking lot of the Tampa amphitheater. The officers were working undercover for the Florida Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco when they approached her asking for her ID. When they saw that she was underage, they arrested her. Our law firm took on the case and argued that there had been no reasonable suspicion that our client had been underage since she was only a few months away from turning 21. The State agreed with our argument and agreed to drop all of the charges against our client.
