A woman at the gym recently raided a gym locker that was not her own and stole another individual's wallet. The incident happened on January 11th, when the woman was working out at an LA Fitness in Tampa. The suspect entered the locker room area and opened an unlocked door that contained a wallet and a set of keys. She left the gym with both of these items.
Her crime was captured on a video surveillance camera and she attempted to use the stolen credit cards at a CVS that was located at West Hillsborough Avenue. The car was declined when she tried to use it. The suspect was seen to be wearing a black track suit when she committed the crime, and left the scene of the crime in a red sedan. The Hillsborough County Sherriff's Department is currently searching for this suspect. They plan to punish this woman if they are able to locate her.
This is because she is guilty of the crime of petty theft. Depending on the contents of the wallet, the woman could receive harsh penalties.
