Out-of-State Client Represented in Criminal Mischief Case

Client was charged with criminal mischief after a neighbor alleged that she damaged her car in a fight over a parking space. Our client received a notice to appear in court in Tampa after moving out of state. Because the charge was a misdemeanor, she was able to retain our office to appear on her behalf in court. This saved our client a substantial amount of money, so she did not have to pay for airline tickets and a hotel to appear at her court date. We were able to enter our client into a diversion program that she can complete by mail. At the end of the program, all of her charges will be dismissed without her ever having to return to Tampa.

If you are living out of state and facing criminal charges in Florida, it is important to contact a criminal defense attorney before you make arraignments to return for court.
