Hillsborough County Bank Robbery

A suspect entered the Fifth Third Bank at Fishawk Boulevard in Lithia at about 4:50 p.m. on January 22nd, 2014 and presented a handwritten note to a teller there, demanding money. The suspect then fled the bank with a bag full of money. He entered a white van that was waiting for him near a shopping plaza. On January 24th, 2014 the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office was able to locate the offender and arrest him without incident.

The offender is a 23-year-old white Caucasian male that was charged with bank robbery, violation of probation, fraudulent use of a credit card, and robbery by sudden snatching. He was also charged with two counts of grand theft and a burglary of conveyance charge. The individual has been charged with violating probation as well.
